Held on February 12, 2025, the Women Empowerment Centre (WEC) hosted a dynamic In-Person Youth Consultation at Rani Hall, Indreni Suites, Kathmandu. This session was a follow-up to a youth-led survey conducted with 165 young individuals from urban Nepal. This program was supported by FP2020 Asia Pacific Regional Hub. The consultation aimed to delve deeper into the challenges and opportunities in demand generation and community support for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) services. The event fostered open discussions on access to family planning, availability of youth-friendly SRHR services, and the importance of creating inclusive and informed communities. Through interactive sessions and group dialogues, the youth participants expressed their perspectives, shared lived experiences, and put forward recommendations to improve SRHR services in Nepal.
