About the Organization
PUM is an international organization that drives local positive impact on a global scale. It works with small and medium-sized enterprises and the institutions that support them to strengthen business ecosystems. How They Supported Us
PUM provided technical support to Women Empowerment Centre (WEC) for a Training Session on the Refinement of Banana Fiber Threads, conducted from April 21 to 25, 2024, in Kawasoti Municipality. The training was organized jointly by Women Empowerment Centre and Annapurna Handicrafts, with expert trainers from the Netherlands facilitated through PUM. A total of 10 participants took part in the training, which focused on refining threads made from fibers extracted from banana plants.
