About the Movement
One Billion Rising is a global movement that calls for an end to violence against women and girls. The movement mobilizes people worldwide to raise awareness, promote solidarity, and demand justice through collective action, advocacy, and creative expression.
How We Engaged
Women Empowerment Centre (WEC) participated in the One Billion Rising movement, joining global and national actions to raise awareness about gender-based violence and to stand in solidarity with survivors.
