Mother & Baby Clothing Tailoring Training

The 3-Month Mother & Baby Dress Making Training commenced on Magh 4, 2082, with 12 women participants, aiming to strengthen their tailoring skills and create sustainable livelihood opportunities. The training covered garment measurement, pattern making, fabric selection, cutting, stitching, finishing, ironing, and quality control, with a special focus on designing and sewing a variety of mother and baby garments, including baby sets, maternity wear, and other essential clothing. Participants also received practical guidance on the safe use and maintenance of sewing machines, fabric estimation, costing and pricing of products, customer service, and basic entrepreneurship to help them establish or expand their own tailoring businesses. Through intensive hands-on practice and continuous mentorship, the program enhanced participants’ technical skills, confidence, and income-generating potential, contributing to women’s economic empowerment and self-reliance.
