International Analog Forestry Network (IAFN)

About the Organization
The International Analog Forestry Network (IAFN) work to promote Analog Forestry as a nature-based solution that integrates biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, and sustainable livelihoods. Through research, advocacy, and capacity building, they support community-led forest restoration and environmentally sustainable land-use practices.

How They Supported Us
IAFN / RIFA supported Women Empowerment Centre (WEC) in the implementation of the Analog Forest initiative and in the development of a case study on Analog Forest practices. Their technical guidance and knowledge support strengthened documentation and learning around community-based forest restoration.

Impact of the Support
With the support of IAFN / RIFA, WEC was able to:

  • Strengthen understanding and implementation of Analog Forestry practices

  • Document community-led forest restoration through a detailed case study

  • Promote biodiversity conservation and climate-resilient livelihoods
