A 15-day Financial Literacy and Industrial Development Training was
successfully conducted with the goal of equipping local residents with
essential financial skills and knowledge to foster entrepreneurship and
economic self-reliance. The training focused on empowering individuals
from across Kirtipur Municipality, specifically from Wards 1 to 10.
engaging a total of 25 participants in each ward. The sessions aimed to provide participants with a deeper
understanding of financial management, budgeting, savings, and the
basics of starting and sustaining small-scale industries. The training was
conducted with generous support from Kanthari, Swiss Foundation,
whose funding made it possible to reach a diverse group of community
members.
This training supports SDG 4 (Quality Education) by providing lifelong
learning opportunities and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth)
