On 24th September 2022, the Centre organized an awareness program on breast and cervical cancer for women, marking the occasion of Women’s Awareness Month (October 2022). The event focused on providing essential knowledge about the importance of early screening, self-examination, and regular health check-ups for the prevention and early detection of these cancers.
This campaign was conducted in collaboration with GOSON, aiming to enhance women’s awareness and proactive care towards their health and well-being. The Centre expressed sincere gratitude to Dr. Sheila Varmali, President of GOSON, for her dedicated support and contribution to the program’s success. The session proved to be very interactive and empowering, as participants shared their concerns and committed to adopting preventive health practices.
