ANALOG FOREST ORENTATION PROGRAM

On Saturday, 13th Shrawan 2080 (July 29, 2023), the Women Empowerment Centre, in collaboration with IAFN, organized an “Analog Forest Awareness Program.” The event saw the participation of 27 individuals, including board members of our organization, trainer Sharada Ramadas, and members of community forest user groups from within Kirtipur Municipality. A stall was also set up during the event, through which we sold training-related items and collected a total amount of NPR 2,865. This Analog Forest Awareness Program advances SDG 13 (Climate Action) by raising awareness on ecosystem conservation, SDG 15 (Life on Land) through promoting sustainable forest management, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by engaging community groups and strengthening local collaborations.
